Wow...alot has happened this semester and I haven't updated in so long. But on to current, late-breaking news:

Today I almost died. I went to drop Leah off at the airport, and on my way back on highway 67 I got drowsy and shut my eyes for a second. The next thing I knew I was completely out of control and crossing the highway's median into the oncoming traffic. The last thing I saw was a tractor trailer coming at me, and then I found out later that a Suburban was involved, also. It was so surreal. I was fine. I climbed out of the car window because the door wouldn't open. The highway was a disaster. pieces of my car were everywhere. The car was so mangled, even on the drivers door, right where had been. It is such a miracle that I am still alive and that no one was hurt. It was so surreal, like the worst nightmare I've ever had. I could not believe that I was ok. You never now how you'll react in a situation until it happens..but this is what I did. I screamed...and cried....and collapsed on the ground. I was so in awe that God could save me from such a wreck. Looking at the car, it does not look like I should have lived. But I walked away with: a bruise on my knee, a bump on my forehead, and a scrape from climbing out the car window. I called my mom first and when she heard me so upset she got really upset, also. After a while with the police questioning me, I started calling for a ride back to campus...Preston was in class, same with my roommates Kara, Dolly and Jenna. But I luckily got a hold of Bobby, and him and Dave C. came to get me at the police department. I was so grateful to see people I knew that I just started sobbing again when I saw them. I'm so glad that they came for me. Then we had to go to the towing company to get their information for the insurance....Bobby got pictures of the car, although I didn't want any taken at the time, I realize now that we need them for insurance. I feel so awful. It was so hard telling my parents that I got slammed by a tractor trailer and a suburban and it was my fault. All day I have been in this shocked state...This has made me look at the world through such a different light then I did yesterday. I feel like I can't thank God enough for keeping me and everyone else safe. It's obvious that He has a great plan for me, if he wanted me to live through this.

Well....things have been quite eventful lately....

     So, yesterday was a typical busy day for me, trying to get my projects in on time. We had officer elections in Regina last night, so that took a while....After the meeting I was in my room for only a couple minutes when Preston called wanting me to come down and see him...and I walked outside and all of a sudden masses (what looked like masses) of guys came charging at me....and I got queened for DELTA CHI DELTA!!! WooHoo!! I was so shocked and nervous just standing with them, I did not know what to do...and I still don't, haha. But I am very honored to be a part of them now. I really do love  the guys that I already know in DXD, they are all so great. It's funny because I know most of the songs already just from going to functions with Preston...lol.

    Well, then I stayed up ALL NIGHT working on my children's literature portfolio. It was crazy, right now I am running on absolutley zero hours of sleep. I have huge bags under my eyes, too...haha....no one look at me today, lol.

I'm back in Searcy already...

Thanksgiving break was great!! I got to see some friends. I saw Harry Potter which was a good movie, and also Rent. I don't know what to think of Rent. It was....interesting. I loved it, but it had it's disturbing parts, and dealt with hard issues...

Thanksgiving morning I woke up and the whole neighborhood was covered in SNOW!! I was so excited, I played around in it a little and then got in the car to drive down to see my family in New Jersey. We had thanksgiving there, where there was no snow. But....I learned how to play Risk with my brother and cousins, and it was so fun! Yes, I am a girl saying I like a world domination game. I wanna play it again sometime. So then on friday we drove back up to NY, where there was snow again!

I just went to Midnight Oil with Jared, the only person I around these parts untill tomorrow....
